How to use the random superpower generator
- Leave Type and Rarity on Any, or pick, say,
Elemental+Rare. - Press Generate to get a power and what it does.
- Switch to Hero builder for a complete character, and choose Hero, Villain or Antihero.
- Copy the result or export a list for a game or class.
Superhero and villain builder
The Hero builder gives a name, a main power, a second power from a different type, a weakness and an origin, for example Crimson Vortex (Hero): Teleportation + Cryokinesis. Weakness: it stops working when you are nervous. Origin: a lightning strike on your birthday. Weaknesses make characters interesting, so every build comes with one.
Ideas for using a random superpower
- Would you rather: generate two powers and argue which is better.
- Writing prompt: give an ordinary character a random power and write their first day with it.
- Drawing challenge: design a costume that shows off the power.
- Tabletop games: roll a power for each player at the start of a one-shot.

What is the rarest superpower?
Powers marked Legendary, such as time stopping, reality warping, power absorption and resurrection, change the world the most. Set Rarity to Legendary to roll only those.
