At quality 80–90%, WEBP output is visually indistinguishable from the original JPG or PNG at roughly 30% smaller file size. Lower quality settings will show more compression artefacts but produce even smaller files.
SVG is a vector format — it describes shapes mathematically rather than storing pixels. Converting a raster image (JPG/PNG) to SVG requires tracing, which is a fundamentally different operation (and lossy in a different way). For raster-to-vector tracing, specialised tools like Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator are needed.
