Decision fatigue is real, and couples, families and office lunch groups often spend longer choosing than eating. A few rules keep the random pick fair: agree on a filter first (price, fast food or sit-down), give everyone one veto, and accept the next draw. Common questions
Can the random restaurant generator find restaurants near me?
It does not use your location. Use Random cuisine and search that cuisine in your maps app, or type the places near you into Pick from your own restaurants and let it choose.
Is my own restaurant list saved?
Yes, in your browser’s local storage on this device only. It is never sent to a server, and Clear my list deletes it.
Can I pick only fast food or only sit-down restaurants?
Click Fast food (fast food and fast casual chains) or Sit-down (casual, family and fine dining). The Price filter narrows it further.
Can it pick two restaurants to choose between?
Tick Pair as matchups and set How many to 2. You get Restaurant A vs Restaurant B to vote on.
