The XML is converted to a data model first: attributes and child elements become properties, repeated elements become List<T>, and numbers and booleans in the text are typed accordingly. The class is named after the element, so <user id="7"><name>Ada</name></user> gives public class User with public long Id and public string Name, each with a [JsonPropertyName] attribute.
