The LESS source is compiled with less.js and the CSS is written in Stylus's brace-free indented form, which the Stylus compiler reads back to the same CSS. Variables, mixins and functions are evaluated, so the output is the flattened, compiled result with a comment saying so. @c: red; .a { color: @c; } becomes .a with the indented line color: red.
