The "Go full screen" button covers your display with solid blue (#0000FF) until you press Esc or click. It isolates the blue subpixels for a dead-pixel check, and a flat blue field is also used as a quick chroma backdrop behind small objects when filming with a phone. Use the colour picker to fine-tune the shade before going full screen.
