Supported BBCode tags
| BBCode | HTML |

becomes
<blockquote><cite>Ada wrote:</cite>Try <strong>this</strong> <a href="https://example.com" rel="nofollow">link</a></blockquote>
Common questions
How do I convert BBCode to HTML?
Paste the BBCode into the left box. The HTML appears on the right as you type and the rendered result is shown underneath. Copy the HTML into your page or CMS.
Can I just preview BBCode without converting?
Yes. The preview panel is a BBCode viewer: it shows the post the way a forum would render it, so you can check formatting, links and images before posting.
Is the generated HTML safe to put on my site?
Any HTML typed into the BBCode is escaped, links are limited to http, https, mailto and relative URLs, and colors, sizes and fonts are validated before they reach a style attribute. Links get rel="nofollow".
Can I convert HTML to BBCode?
Yes, choose HTML → BBCode. Bold, italics, underline, strike, links, images, quotes, code, lists, headings (as bold) and line breaks are converted; other tags are dropped and their text kept.
Does it handle nested tags?
Yes. Quotes inside quotes, lists inside quotes and formatting inside links are all converted; mismatched tags are left as plain text.
Is my text uploaded?
No. Conversion and preview run in your browser.
